Privacy Policy

Marquee is run by drixell. This policy explains what personal data Marquee handles and why, in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

Hosts and organisers

When you create an account we keep your name, email address and, if you sign in with Google, your Google account ID and profile picture. If you add a passkey, we store its public key only; your fingerprint or face never leaves your device.

Guests

Hosts add their guests' names, and optionally email addresses and phone numbers, so they can send invitations. When a guest replies we keep their answer, headcount, any names they add, and any wish or photo they choose to share. Guests don't need an account.

How we use it

• To send invitations, reminders and updates on the host's behalf.
• To show hosts and their organisers who is coming.
• To show wishes a host chooses to display on the Wishes Wall.

We don't sell personal data or use it for advertising. Email is delivered through our email provider (Brevo). Invitation pages and the Wishes Wall are hidden from search engines.

Keeping and deleting data

Hosts can remove invitees and wishes at any time. A host can ask us to delete their account and events by emailing hello@drixell.com. Guests can ask the host, or email us, to have their details removed.
